The Pick-It-Up Truck is a father son duo that began in 2020 when Ricardo Sommer and Evan Sommer lost their landscaping contracts as a result of the pandemic and broken promises. They were driving around in their pick-up and we’re coming up with possible solutions to their dilemma. They needed a job or to make a business that was capable of succeeding in today’s economy. They were throwing around a few ideas when they theorized of a company that transported people and their goods. They realized there was a gap in the market for transporting things that you can’t fit in a car, but you also don’t need a moving vehicle. Thus the Pick It Up Truck was born.
